It is said, that there is nothing more expensive than a life

I have decided to translate myself in English the verse "On dit: il n'y a rien de plus cher que la vie". In French this verse sounds very beautifully. I cannot even say so beautifully in Russian. My English is bad, but I hope you will understand, that I wished to express in my verses. It is said, that there is nothing more expensive than a life. I should like to have a friend who would be for me my all life. From who I would not have any secrets about whom there would be my all thoughts for who I would be ready on all who would be my happiness always and everywhere. To see he every day and to admire him, wishing him a good, succesful day, feeling constantly his palpitation, nurishing with pleasure to this happiness, to live on him and on his love, without stopping to love he neither in the afternoon, nor at night, enjoying to this fine feeling, trying not to lose its any moment I should like , that this dream was not a Utopia, but anyway, it really is magnificent, And I live on it, rejoicing to it, trying to keep in my soul this fantastic desire about such fine and nevertheless real Love. I would be very grateful to that person who would agree to correct the given English text. The matter is that I never, anywhere did not study English language, but I understand it. I needed to help my grandson who learns at university. I did it competently enough, but never did translations from Russian on English, understanding that I will not make it well. As to grammatical exercises it is easier. It as mathematics, it is necessary to apply rules. Forgive me for my errors in translation and if somebody would write me to comments his translation, I would be very glad. Cerise |
