God's counsels concerning us and our welfare are deep, such as cannot be known. We cannot think how many mercies we have received from him. It would help to keep us in the fear of the Lord all the day long, if, when we wake in the morning, our first thoughts were of him: and how shall we admire and bless our God for his precious salvation, when we awake in the world of glory! Surely we ought not to use our members and senses, which are so curiously fashioned, as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin. But our immortal and rational souls are a still more noble work and gift of God. Yet if it were not for his precious thoughts of love to us, our reason and our living for ever would, through our sins, prove the occasion of our eternal misery. How should we then delight to meditate on God's love to sinners in Jesus Christ, the sum of which exceeds all reckoning! Sin is hated, and sinners lamented, by all who fear the Lord. Yet while we shun them we should pray for them; with God their conversion and salvation are possible. As the Lord knows us thoroughly, and we are strangers to ourselves, we should earnestly desire and pray to be searched and proved by his word and Spirit. if there be any wicked way in me, let me see it; and do thou root it out of me. The way of godliness is pleasing to God, and profitable to us; and will end in everlasting life. It is the good old way. All the saints desire to be kept and led in this way, that they may not miss it, turn out of it, or tire in it.

Spesso, quando si pensa all'inquinamento, si tende ad associare lo smog solo a un bel ca??o alla griglia!
Il 2 ottobre il sito Repubblica.it ha pubblicato una notizia sconvolgente: barbecue e vernici inquinano più delle macchine!
L'articolo dice: "Le esalazioni della pittura, il profumo degli alberi o i fumi dell’arrosto del barbecue inquinano molto di più dei gas delle automobili. Ad affermarlo è uno studio dell’Università di Boulder, in Colorado e condotto dal ricercatore Kenneth Docherty, specializzato in chimica atmosferica. Lo studioso ha definito queste insospettabili fonti di inquinamento come “secondary aerosols”, e per studiarle ha analizzato alcuni campioni dell’aria di Riverside, una cittadina vicino Los Angeles, famosa per avere un cielo piuttosto grigio. Il risultato è chiaro: l’80% delle sostanze inquinanti è causato proprio da sostanze gassose."

Ci sono cose che non si osano fare, che si immaginano: spesso lui e lei accompagnano il rapporto con pensieri erotici. Andiamo alla scoperta di questo intimo fantasticare … Il fatto che non sempre i rispettivi partner siano accondiscendenti con le fantasie dell'altro non deve assolutamente essere un problema anche perché numerosi esperti hanno comunque affermato che il fatto di provare piacere proiettandosi in determinate situazioni non è automaticamente sinonimo di attuazione. Anzi. Molti ne parlano per il semplice gusto di parlarne e non è detto che poi si sia disposti a metterle in pratica. Quindi parlarne è la cosa migliore da fare anche perché altrimenti si rischia di reprimere il proprio desiderio e suscitare una sensazione anomala.

Dominare o farsi dominare?
La poetessa americana Sylvia Plath (1932-1963) fu certamente una donna complicata, una “difficult women”, che decise di farla finita all’età di 31 anni. In un poema dedicato al padre, “Daddy“, ella scrisse che “ogni donna adora un fascista”, l’inverso di “ogni uomo adora una femme fatale o una cattiva ragazza”
Come si puó entrare nella mente e nel cuore del propio partner ....e dominare i sentimenti?
Io tante volte avrei voluto dominare i miei .... non ci sono mai riuscito ...
